COVID-19 Vaccination Information

The state of Mississippi is currently offering COVID-19 immunizations for the following :

  • NEW – Teachers and First Responders
  • NEW – Persons age 50 or older
  • All Healthcare Workers and EMT / paramedics
  • Persons 18 – 64 years of age with underlying medical conditions
    • Cancer
    • Chronic kidney disease
    • COPD (chronic obstructive pulmonary disease)
    • Down Syndrome
    • Heart conditions, such as heart failure, coronary artery disease, or cardiomyopathies
    • Immunocompromised state (weakened immune system) from solid organ transplant
    • Obesity (body mass index [BMI] of 30 kg/m2 or higher but less than 40 kg/m2)
    • Severe Obesity (BMI 40 kg/m2 or higher)
    • Pregnancy
    • Sickle cell disease
    • Smoking
    • Diabetes
    • Or other medical conditions as determined by your medical provider

FOUR Ways to Request a COVID-19 Vaccination Appointment:

  1. Register online through the Mississippi State Department of Health
  2. Call 877-978-6453
  3. Contact a local health clinic that currently offers the vaccine
