Pearl, Miss. – MEMA continues to work with federal and local partners to help survivors of the March 14-15 storms and tornadoes with their recovery. As of June 17th, FEMA has given out more than $8.2 million in individual assistance to the 3,259 residents who have applied for federal aid. Applications are still being received daily, and applicants are reminded that even if you have insurance, you are still encouraged to apply—additional funds may be available.
Residents in the approved counties who sustained losses during the March 14-15 severe weather can apply for FEMA assistance by using the FEMA App, going online to DisasterAssistance.gov, or calling the FEMA Helpline at 800-621-3362. If you use a relay service such as Video Relay Service, captioned telephone, or other service, provide FEMA with your number for the service.
