Disaster Recovery Center Locations:

Effective Monday, May 15, 2023. The new Disaster Recovery Center operating hours will be as follows: 

Monday thru Friday – 8 AM until 5 PM 

Saturday – 9 AM to 2 PM 

Sunday – CLOSED 


FEMA/SBA Assistance numbers:  

  • FEMA: More than $9 million in FEMA assistance in the hands of eligible survivors.  
  • SBA: Over $14.3 million in SBA home and business loans approved.
  • Federal support for recovery now totals more than $23.3 million. 

Small Business Administration:  

  • Businesses and residents of Mississippi with damage from the severe storms, straight-line winds and tornadoes on March 24-25 can apply to the federal disaster loan program before the May 25 deadline.
  • The U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) is reminding eligible private nonprofit (PNP) organizations in Mississippi of the May 30 deadline to submit disaster loan applications.  
  • Also, SBA announced that certain organizations in Washington County may be eligible to apply for low-interest disaster loans. 

Eligible organizations in the following Mississippi counties may apply: Carroll, Humphreys, Monroe, Montgomery, Panola, Sharkey, and Washington. Examples of eligible non-critical PNP organizations include but are not limited to, food kitchens, homeless shelters, museums, libraries, community centers, schools, and colleges.
